Meet the team behind UpStreet!

Erin Barr
Clinical Coordinator for UpStreet
Erin has worked at JFCS since 2003, starting as a Foster Care / Adoption Caseworker where she worked with youth of all ages and their families around issues of loss, trauma, identity and permanence. Next, she moved to the Career Development Center where she served as a social worker for a job-readiness program for young people aging out of the foster care system and then as a program specialist for after school programs. Erin also provided career counseling to young adults with mental health challenges and those on the autism spectrum. Now as the Clinical Coordinator for UpStreet, Erin is proud to be part of a program that makes mental health care accessible for those who need it. Erin has a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Stephanie Rodriguez
Adolescent and Teen Psychotherapist
Stephanie is in her second year working for JFCS. She started as the behavioral therapist for the Jewish Day Schools in Squirrel Hill where she worked with the students, teachers and administrators. She provided support to ensure students have successful experiences in school. Stephanie also has experience as a teacher and swim coach. Stephanie is excited to be a part of the UpStreet team and provide services to those who need it. UpStreet is a huge step in helping break the stigma and silence surrounding mental health. Stephanie has her bachelor’s degree in early childhood and special education and her masters degree in professional counseling.

Natalie Deinesi
UpStreet Intern
Natalie just started in September working for JFCS as an intern for UpStreet. She is currently a Master’s of Social Work (MSW) student at The University of Pittsburgh. She also attended Pitt for her undergraduate degree in psychology as well! Natalie is very excited to have the opportunity to work and grow with the UpStreet team. She has interest in working with teens and young adults of all backgrounds. Her experience as a peer mentor for children sparked her interest in pursuing a degree in social work. Specifically, she has interest in providing therapeutic support for teens with mood and anxiety disorders.
